Gibraltar

Location: Gibraltar is located on the Southern tip of Spain.

Taxation: Gibraltar incorporated companies which do not trade in Gibraltar are not subject to a profits tax.

General Points

1. Gibraltar companies may have only one director and one shareholder. We recommend, however, that there are at least two directors and two shareholders. A Company Secretary is required.

2. In addition to filing an Annual Return Gibraltar Companies are required to file a copy of their annual Financial Accounts, with the Gibraltar Companies House, even though such Financial Accounts do not form the basis for a taxation levy.

3. All proposed names of companies must end with the word limited.
